White Water Rafting

State and National Parks

West Virginia has an incredible system of well-managed lakes, rivers, campgrounds, forests, and of course, cabin rentals. The splendor of the smoky mountains, along with the wildlife that it supports, makes for an incredible vacation that won’t soon be forgotten. Parks like Babcock, Hawks nest, the Monongahela forest and the Cranberry Glades Botanical area are perfect for bird watching, fishing, boating and mountain biking.

Golfing

Sports enthusiasts have been golfing in West Virginia for over 120 years, and it’s no wonder. Mother Nature plays a big part in the way the links are designed. If you want a level playing field, they are available, but there’s nothing like playing on a mountain course. The locals provide interesting color at the clubs, and in just in case you need them, the courses are all located near other family attractions.
